If you like baking and appreciate eating high-quality spelt bread, you'll find the right product here. The content is 460 g. That makes two loaves of bread, each weighing around 360 g.
Tip: for a fine nutty aroma, roast the peeled seeds first and add 1 tablespoon of our roasted hemp seed oil. And those who like it crunchy can also add whole, roasted hemp nuts.
Try it out: Mix 1-2 tablespoons of honey into the dough. Before baking, brush with a little egg white and sprinkle with a nut mixture or whatever.
Put all the ingredients in the kneading machine and knead slowly for 8 minutes. Then knead for 3 minutes at medium speed. Leave to rest for 2-3 hours (the dough should double in size). Form one large loaf or two smaller loaves. Leave to rise for another 30-50 minutes until it has doubled in size. It is best to cover the dough with a damp and warm kitchen towel. Bake: 40-50 minutes at 200-210° C (depending on the type of oven). A baking tin is ideal for the spelt bread. Tip: If you put a heatproof bowl of water in the oven while it is preheating, the steam that is created will make your bread twice as crispy. If you are using a steam oven, add around 20% water.
Alternatively, you can take your bread out of the oven after 30 - 35 minutes, cool it down (on a rack) and freeze it. If you have a craving, put the bread in the fridge the night before and finish baking it the next morning in an oven preheated to 210° C for 12 - 15 minutes.
